
The Problem:
Oakhurst Golf & Country Club, a private non equity club located in Metro Detroit, ground zero of the economic down turn has seen their membership levels drop to an all time low. Their banquet business has also suffered greatly. In 2010, Oakhurst's revenue was the lowest since inception and needed a solution.
The Solution:
Oakhurst Golf & Country Club hired Course Logix back in the middle of 2010 to construct a new website geared to sell more memberships, banquets/weddings, outings and real estate. Course Logix created a website that showcases the property the way it deserved; plus strategicaly positioning the website in the search engines. In 2011, the membership leads and the wedding leads have trippled.
Course Logix also built Oakhurst a member portal specifically designed for Private Clubs. Members can access numerous features such as online member roster, online calendar of events, online tournament registration, and much more. Since the installation of the new member portal, Oakhurst has been able to cut printing costs and labor costs due to converting to a paperless club.
Oakhurst has also increase member spend with the Course Logix's member email communication tool that allows the club to easily promote events to it's members on a consistent basis.
